The Department is municipally owned, whose members are on a volunteer status resourced by the Millport Volunteer Company, Inc. On a primary response the Fire Protection District serves approximately 2,500 people living in a thirty-six square mile area. Our Department is located in the Village of Millport, County of Chemung, along NYS Route Fourteen, halfway between the Villages of Montour Falls and Horseheads, New York.
